Refugees Mental Health
Event Branding / Visual Identity
The Brief
Develop a visual identity and branding for an international conference organized by SHOC and dedicated to refugee mental health (Refugees Mental Health International Conference). The project required creating an empathetic and professional visual language that reflects SHOC’s core values: active mutual support, hope, and humanity. The primary objective was to design a meaningful symbol and adapt the style across various physical and digital touchpoints — from stage backdrops and window graphics to roll-up banners and presentation screens.
The Solution
The logo features a stylized human figure raising a hand — a symbolic gesture of raising one’s hand to volunteer, offer help, and extend support. The blue and yellow color palette serves as a direct nod to Ukraine, highlighting the conference’s key focus and solidarity with Ukrainian refugees. The smooth, dynamic lines of the mark evoke a sense of safety and healing. Around this symbol, we developed a flexible design system that seamlessly scales across all event media: from refined backdrop graphics and projector displays to high-contrast roll-up banners for the welcome area.
